Founded to promote and advance international trade, in peace and prosperity, we condemn the breach of international law by the unprovoked and unjustified attack on Ukraine and we fully support U.S. President Joe Biden’s statement“Russia alone is responsible for the death and destruction this attack will bring, and the United States and its Allies and partners will respond in a unified and decisive way. The world will hold Russia accountable”

United we call for the urgent restoration of peace and for constructive dialogue to commence immediately. The Romanian American Chamber of Commerce and The Moldovan American Chamber of Commerce business community will continue to support the Administration, and the Romanian and Moldovan Governments to ensure a meaningful resumption of peace talks.

Resumption of business transactions by reducing inevitable risk caused by the invasion of Ukraine will benefit all of us including the Russian people.
